**Tarantula Canada Commercial location UPDATE:

We have finally made the jump and moved Tarantula Canada out of our home and into a commercial location! There are photos on our Facebook page for anyone who wants to take a look. Things will still be business as usual for the most part, but we have had to tweak our schedule a little. Visitors will be welcome to the new facility, but as before, an appointment will be necessary. For folks who wish to make purchases in person, you will now need to make an appointment to meet us at the new location, instead of our home, to pick up your animals. Generally, we will be available some weeknights, some Friday or Saturday afternoons/evenings, and probably every other Sunday during the day. Amanda will be busy with the boys during the day, so daytime pickups during the work week will not normally be possible unless you make special arrangements a few days in advance. To the clients we ship to, Monday will still be our main shipping day, but we must receive orders and payments by 5:00 Sunday evening to guarantee Monday shipping. We will also be able to ship Tuesdays and Wednesdays if we know a few days in advance that we need to accommodate your schedule. Please email us with any questions you may have regarding the new facility.

**Winter shipping season is here

We are now in our winter shipping season, which means certain policies are now in place to ensure a safe transit for the animals.  The purchase of an insulated box and heat pack are required for all orders ($10 for a small unit, $15 for a medium).  A signature will also be required for delivery.  If no one is present to sign, the boxes will be taken to the nearest distribution centre, and you will need to pick the box up there (a notice will be left behind letting you know where to make the pickup).  If you know that no one will be home to sign for the box, you might want to consider having the box sent to an alternate address where someone can sign.
